I've decided to add give aways to my blog, because hey, when you win a give away you are getting something for FREE. I enter A LOT of give aways and manage to win every other month or so. It depends how many give aways I enter in those given months.

Why I search for freebies/samples!

I have had people ask why I sign up for freebies or samples when most of them are so "small" or "trial sizes". Well believe it or not these small or trial size packages come in handy. My family and I travel a lot to Arkansas to visit my in-laws and having the smaller packages are always easier to take with us and it insures we have shampoo/conditioner or whatever else even if our host doesn't. If I run out of something and can't make it to the store, I know I have back up of stuff until I can make it.

I also get TONS of feminine products in the mail, sometimes more than anything else. I have no use for them but I stock them up for visitors. It came in handy this summer when my step daughter visited. Just because you don't use something doesn't mean someone else doesn't.

My Deals of the Week!

I don't always get things for free believe it or not. :) Here are a few things I got in my mail box this week that I paid for but got a killer deal on!!

Artscow had a deal going on at the beginning of the New Year for 2 double-sided dog tags for 2.99 w/ free shipping and 2 (any size) cosmetic bags for 4.99 w/ free shipping. I got 4 personalized items for $7.98. I got 2 XL cosmetic bags and 2 dog tags. One for myself and one for my brother in law. (His is not picture, I re-sent his to him as soon as I got it in the mail.)

The only down fall to Artscow is it's shipping time. They are located in Hong Kong and it's always taken me 2-3 weeks to receive my items. If you are ordering for someone's birthday or other holiday it's best to order at least a month ahead to insure that you get it on time.

Next deal is from my favorite shop, Fashionably Me Boutique. I've purchased numerous bows from her and she always has the best deals on bows because she has FREE shipping. I've gotten both of these bows for 11.50. Most shops charge that much for 1 bow on top of shipping. This made me think about how much money did I save in 2010 by not having to buy shampoo/conditioner one month or toothpaste the next. I figured I would make a blog to help document what I got through out the year as well as help friends get some of these great products as well.
